It is estimated that there are over 8 million homeless dogs and cats in the United States. Animal rescue is at an all time high. As an avid animal lover myself, I believe in the #nokill movement and have three rescued cats and two rescue dogs. Zoey, a cattle dog, border collie mix, was adopted from Arizona Animal Welfare League. When she was around 10 months old, I found her a companion, Annie Oakley, then, an 8-month old pure bred border collie. Annie was listed to be re-homed on Next Door. Within days, I realized we had a problem and that I needed help on how to train an out of control dog. We had issues with puppy training, puppy obedience, dog barking, dog behavior, crate training, basic dog commands, dog obedience commands, etc. I needed to learn how to train a dog and FAST!

This is Annie’s story and how I got her the amazing dog training she so desperately needed. Not only is this a great story about my dog Annie, but also an educational movie about How to Train Your Dog!

It was so hard to find someone to trust, but after a great recommendation from a close friend, I found Ann Austin, experienced dog trainer with Animal Actors of Arizona. If you’re like me and you want to know how to train your dog, contact Ann at 602-316-0711

She’s the best dog trainer on the West Coast!
